A key improvement in Maybank Marathon 2025 came from solving a recurring challenge — the underperforming Maybank Interactive Lounge (MIL). This year, DAMN Inc. redesigned and merged the MIL with the Official Merchandise, creating a central hub where visitors could naturally explore, interact, and shop. The refreshed layout successfully increased visitor flow, dwell time, and customer engagement, while supporting sales and M2U app acquisition initiatives.
Beyond MIL, the team also restructured the entire site map, implementing a one-way-in, one-way-out circulation that made transitions from Race Pack Collection (RPC) to BIB Checking smoother and reduced long queues. The design also ensured maximum sponsor visibility, placing partner booths strategically along high-traffic routes.
Adding QRPay-based lifestyle activations — from free hair braiding, temporary tattoos, to Tribrata bracelets — and featuring local F&B brands like Gigi Susu, the RPC became a vibrant, community-driven experience celebrating both runners and brand partners.
